Spring Over-seeding

Its Almost time for Over-seeding!
Here at Longo’s we have the tools to get the job done right the first time. Spring time is approaching, which means its time to dethatch your lawn, apply fresh Bermuda grass seed and fertilizer. Why dethatch your lawn? Dethaching is a process that removes all the dead grass that has built up from the prior season. There are also additional benefits of doing this process such as aerating your lawn and exposing soil. When you do apply your fresh seed and fertilizer, the seed is applied to the soil and not the top clumps of dead grass. Seed being applied directly to the soil promotes a strong root connection which is important to get that beautiful green lawn.
