Community Involvement

Longo’s Solar Cleaning is a small Veteran Owned Business that works hand in hand with The Joshua Longo Foundation. Like every small business, we rely on the community to pay our bills, support our families, provide jobs for vets and grow our business. What’s great about being a small business is that we are actively involved in our community and know what areas need assistance.

With that being said we are always looking for ways to help out those in need and are proud of what we can offer to Yuma County. Through community involvement, our goal is to help out as many family’s as we can and increase our footprint in Yuma.

Help us help our community!

Longo’s Donation to Yuma Catholic Youth Wrestling Program

Some of you may have seen on the news that thieves broke in and stole from Yuma catholic youth wrestling program. Stealing from kids is not acceptable, so Owner, Joshua Longo did something about it. Longo’s Donated half of the $1,800 worth of gear and equipment that was stolen. “I want to thank those who have supported Longo’s over the years. Your support allows us to give back to our community and sponsor other youth sporting activities. Please give us a like on our page and share this post so we can keep investing in future youth activities.” Remember to support #local

August 2nd 2020

Veteran Owned Longo’s Solar Cleaning holds 1st Fully Stuff Backpack Drive for those who have been impacted by COVID-19.

Due to the size of our business, we did not qualify for state or federal grants. Being a BBB sponsor we applied for a local BBB Main Street Grant and raised additional funds through Go Fund Me. We used 100% of those funds to purchase 30 backpacks stuffed with schooling essentials and handed them out to children.

Fact: Yuma covers over 2,800 tags each year which costs the city more than $200,000 per year to cover up tags. That’s an average cost of $71.43 per tag. Thanks to our sponsors and volunteers, we’ve managed to bring the average tag cover up to just $7 per tag. Let’s make a difference and not waste our tax dollars on covering up tags!

Great turn out today to make our city beautiful and covering up graffiti!

None of this would have been possible without our sponsors for donating paint, supplies, and materials:

-LG Paint Store

-48 Solar

-EDs Custom Coatings

-Knights of Columbus

-Alees Langford

-Jill Beth

Again sponsors, thank you for supporting a great cause in our community!!

A very BIG special thank you to our volunteers and braving the heat/humidity to cover up the graffiti:
